Procedure
- Power off the server and check whether there is damage or poor contact between the component and its slot.
- Remove and reinstall the NIC. Then, check whether the alarm is cleared.
If yes, no further action is required.
If no, go to 3.
- Replace the NIC. Then, check whether the alarm is cleared.
If yes, no further action is required.
If no, go to 4.
- Replace the mainboard. Then, check whether the alarm is cleared.
If yes, no further action is required.
If no, go to 5.
- Contact technical support engineer.
