Startup
Context
On the main screen of the controller, there are Start and Shutdown buttons for controlling the startup and shutdown of smart cooling products.
- If the device is powered on again after a power failure, the device automatically restores to the original start/shutdown state before the power failure.
- Hardware ports are reserved on the controller to control the status of the remote dry contacts or remote startup and shutdown signal. The status of the remote dry contacts and remote start/shutdown signal is started by default.
- Starting a unit over the screen or NMS is valid only when the status of remote dry contacts or remote start/shutdown signal is Start.
Procedure
- Tap Start on the home screen of the controller.
- If the screen shown in Figure 4-23 is displayed, tap Yes. This indicates the initial startup after power-on. Go to 2 to perform the initial startup verification.

- If the screen shown in Figure 4-23 is displayed, tap Yes. This indicates the initial startup after power-on. Go to 2 to perform the initial startup verification.
- Open the Service Expert app.
If the initial startup verification is passed, startup verification is not required afterwards.
After factory settings are restored, re-verification for startup is required.
- Tap StartUp on the home screen of the app and the screen shown in Figure 4-26 is displayed.
- Click Offline Activation. The screen shown in Figure 4-27 is displayed.
- On the Offline Activation screen, specify BarCode and Codes that are available on home screen of the controller as shown in Figure 4-23, and tap Generate PWD to generate a startup password.
If startup verification fails (the password is not entered within 5 minutes or the password is incorrect), the generated password will be invalid for the sake of security. The initial startup verification fails.
- Tap Password on the home screen of the controller and enter the generated startup password in the displayed dialog box.
- After you power on the smart cooling product, the screen displays the Wizard Startup screen.
- If the refrigerant has been fully charged, perform wizard-based commissioning.
- If the remaining refrigerant is not charged, tap No. Complete refrigerant charging, and then perform the wizard startup by choosing to enter the wizard startup screen.
