Replacing a Humidifier Water Pump
Prerequisites
- A humidifier water pump needs to be replaced.
- A spare humidifier pump of the same model is available and functional.
- Tools: Phillips screwdriver, flat-head screwdriver.
Procedure
- Tap Shutdown on the home screen of the controller. Turn off the active power switch QF1 and standby power switch QF2 (you do not need to turn on the standby switch QF2 for the model with a single power supply), and drive switch QF3.
Exercise caution because the device is still energized after it is shut down on the controller home screen.
- Open the rear door and remove the air filter.
- Cut the cable ties securing the humidifier pump cable and remove the terminals.
- Remove the screws that secure the humidifier pump fastener using a Phillips screwdriver, as shown in Figure 6-37, and pull out the humidifier pump and the fastener.
- Remove the hose clamps at the water inlet and outlet ports of the humidifier pump and on the humidifier pump using a flat-head screwdriver, and remove the water inlet and outlet pipes, as shown in Figure 6-37.
- Install the new humidifier pump by performing the preceding steps in reverse order, connect the hoses and cables, and secure them using hose clamps.Figure 6-38 Installing a humidifier pump
- Install the air filter and close the rear door.
- Power on the device. On the LCD home screen,
choose , and clear the humidifier pump runtime.Figure 6-39 Performance maintenance
- Tap Start on the home screen and check that the smart cooling product is running properly and no alarm is generated.
If the indoor fan is maintained after you tap Start, manually clear the alarm.
