This document describes all the configuration commands of the device, including the command function, syntax, parameters, views, default level, usage guidelines, examples, and related commands.

The ospfv3 command enables an OSPFv3 process .

The undo ospfv3 command disables the OSPFv3 process.

By default, the system does not support OSPFv3.


ospfv3 [ process-id ] [ vpn-instance vpn-instance-name ]

undo ospfv3 process-id


Parameter Description Value
process-id Specifies the OSPFv3 process ID. The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 4294967295. By default, it is 1.
vpn-instance vpn-instance-name Specifies the name of the VPN instance. The value is a string of 1 to 31 case-sensitive characters except spaces. When double quotation marks are used to include the string, spaces are allowed in the string. The value _public_ is reserved and cannot be used as the VPN instance name.

Usage Guidelines

Only when you configure the Route ID in the OSPFv3 view, the OSPFv3 process can run normally. Otherwise, the OSPFv3 process can be viewed but cannot generate LSAs.

If a VPN instance is specified, the OSPFv3 process belongs to the VPN instance. If no VPN instance is specified, the OSPFv3 process is a global instance.

Before configuring OSPFv3-related parameters, you must enable OSPFv3.
