Feature Limitations

  • DLDP cannot be configured on logical interfaces.

  • The same interval for sending Advertisement packets must be set on both the local and remote devices; otherwise, DLDP cannot work properly.

  • In DLDP compatible mode, at least one byte in the MAC address is 0. The MAC address cannot be a multicast MAC address.

  • If the link is in unidirectional state, the interface enabled with DLDP cannot detect the unidirectional state.
