Mapping from Priorities to CoS Values (PHBs) and Colors in the Inbound Direction in the DiffServ Domain

  • Table 4-2 lists the mapping from 802.1p priorities to CoS values (PHBs) and colors in the inbound direction in the DiffServ domain.
  • Table 4-3 lists the mapping from DSCP priorities in IP packets to CoS values (PHBs) and colors in the inbound direction in the DiffServ domain.
  • Table 4-4 lists the mapping from EXP priorities in MPLS packets to CoS values (PHBs) and colors in the inbound direction in the DiffServ domain.
NOTE:
The mapping from interface priorities to CoS values (PHBs) and colors is similar to the mapping from 802.1p priorities to CoS values (PHBs) and colors. Colors are used to determine whether the packets are discarded and are independent of the mapping between internal priorities and queues.
