Overview of Traffic Statistics

Overview of Traffic Statistics

After MQC is used to implement traffic statistics, the device collects statistics on packets matching traffic classification rules. The statistics on forwarded and discarded packets matching a traffic policy help you check whether the traffic policy is correctly applied and locate faults.

You can run the display traffic-policy statistics command to view the statistics on forwarded and discarded packets matching a traffic policy only after MQC is used to implement traffic statistics.

Table 11-1 describes the differences between traffic statistics and interface statistics.
