Identifying MZ520 Ports in Windows
This section uses Windows Server 2012 R2 as an example. For details about the configuration on other OSs, see the OS documentation provided by the OS vendors.
To identify MZ520 ports in Windows Server 2012 R2, perform the following steps:
Windows Server 2012 R2 does not have the MZ520 driver. Therefore, the Network and Sharing Center window does not display the two ports of the MZ520, as shown in Figure 4-191.
In the Device Manager window, you can see two Ethernet controllers, which correspond to the two ports of the MZ520, as shown in Figure 4-192.
After the driver is installed, the two ports are displayed in the Network and sharing Center window: Ethernet, Ethernet 2, Ethernet 3, and Ethernet 4. See Figure 4-193. Ethernet maps to Port 0, and Ethernet 2 maps to Port 1.
