Functions
The MZ522 is a 10GE converged network adapter (CNA). It is used for E9000 compute nodes and it provides four ports for compute nodes to connect to switch module slots in the chassis.
The MZ522 uses the Cavium BCM57810S chip, and supports NIC, Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE), and Internet Small Computer System Interface (iSCSI) applications to implement converged network solutions.
