Identifying MZ522 Ports in Windows
To identify MZ522 ports in Windows Server 2012 R2, perform the following steps:
Windows Server 2012 R2 does not have the MZ522 driver. Therefore, the Network and Sharing Center window does not display the four ports of the MZ522, as shown in Figure 4-180.
In the Device Manager window, you can see four Ethernet controllers, which correspond to the four ports of the MZ522, as shown in Figure 4-181.
After the driver is installed, the four ports are displayed in the Network and sharing Center window: Ethernet, Ethernet 2, Ethernet 3, and Ethernet 4. See Figure 4-182. Ethernet and Ethernet 2 map to Port 0 and Port 1 of Controller 0, and Ethernet 3 and Ethernet 4 map to Port 0 and Port 1 of Controller 1 respectively.
