Configuring VLANs in Windows
To configure VLANs in Windows Server 2012 R2 that has NIC drivers installed, perform the following steps:
- In Windows Server 2012 R2, open Network Manager and click a physical port (for example, Ethernet 2). Figure 4-224 Selecting a NIC port
- Click Properties. The Ethernet 2 Properties window is displayed. Figure 4-225 NIC port properties
- Click Configure. The Ethernet 2 configuration window is displayed. Figure 4-226 NIC port property configuration
- Click the Advanced tab, select VLAN ID, set Value to a number (for example, 2), and click OK. Figure 4-227 Setting the NIC port VLAN ID
