Controlling the Receiving of RIPng Routes
Controlling the Receiving of RIPng Routes
To meet the requirements of complex networks, control the
receiving of RIPng routes.
Pre-configuration Tasks
Before
controlling the receiving of RIPng routes, complete the following
task:
Run filter-policy{ acl6-number | acl6-nameacl6-name | ipv6-prefixipv6-prefix-name | route-policyroute-policy-name }import
The RIPng process is configured to
filter received routes.
You can use ACL6, route policy and IPv6
prefix lists to filter received RIPng routes, allowing only the routes
matching ACL6, route policy and IPv6 prefix lists to be added
to RIPng routing tables.
Verifying the Configuration
Run the display ripngprocess-iddatabase [ verbose ] command to check all the active routes in the RIPng database.
Run the display ripngprocess-idroute command to check all the RIPng
routes learned from other routers.
