(Optional) Configuring an NQA Server Link

Context

As shown in Figure 12-5, RouterA is configured as the NQA client and RouterB is configured as the NQA server, and the test result of the NQA test instance is saved on RouterA. RouterA selects an optimal route based on link quality. To implement intelligent route selection on RouterB, configure an NQA server link so that link quality data saved on RouterA can be sent to RouterB. RouterB then selects routes based on received link quality data. This prevents repeated detection of the same link when RouterA is configured as the NQA server and RouterB is configured as the NQA client.

Procedure

  1. Configure an NQA client port number.
    1. Run system-view

      The system view is displayed.

    2. Run smart-policy-route

      A smart-policy-route is created and the smart-policy-route view is displayed.

    3. Run nqa-client interface-type interface-number port port-num

      An NQA client port number is configured.

      By default, an NQA client port number is not configured.

  2. Configure an NQA server link and port number.
    1. Run system-view

      The system view is displayed.

    2. Run smart-policy-route

      A smart-policy-route is created and the smart-policy-route view is displayed.

    3. Run nqa-server interface-type interface-number

      An NQA server link is created.

      By default, no NQA server link is configured.

    4. Run nqa-server port port-num

      An NQA server port number is configured.

      By default, an NQA server port number is not configured.
