(Optional) Enabling the SPR Function for Protocol Packets Generated
on a Device
(Optional) Enabling the SPR Function for Protocol Packets Generated
on a Device
Context
By default, the SPR function cannot be enabled for protocol
packets generated on a device. For example, when POTS phones are directly
connected through FXS interfaces on the device, the device converts
voice signals on the phones into voice packets. These voice packets
do not support the SPR function. When the quality of the voice transmission
link changes, the service data link must be dynamically switched to
ensure voice quality. In this case, enable the SPR function for protocol
packets generated on the device.
Procedure
Run system-view
The system view is displayed.
The following configurations apply to IPv4 protocol packets.
Run acl [ number ] acl-number [ match-order { auto | config } ]
A numbered advanced ACL is created using an ACL number and
the advanced ACL view is displayed. For the detailed ACL configuration,
see Configuring an
Advanced ACL.
By default, no ACL exists on the device.
Run quit
Return to the system view.
Run ip soft-forward enhance enable
The enhanced forwarding function is enabled.
By default, the enhanced forwarding function is enabled.
Run ip route re-search aclacl-number
The SPR function is enabled for protocol packets generated
on a device.
By default, the SPR function is disabled for IPv4 protocol
packets generated on a device.
The following protocols support this command: DNS, HTTP,
HWTACACS, ICMP, RADIUS, SNMP, SSH, TELNET, BGP, GRE (GRE-KeepAlive),
UDP (UDP-Helper), NQA, NHRP, CAPWAP.
The following configurations apply to IPv6 protocol packets.
Run acl ipv6 [ number ] acl6-number [ match-order { auto | config } ]
A numbered ACL6 is created, and the ACL6 view is displayed
for you to configure advanced ACL6s. For details about how to configure
ACL6s, see Configuring an Advanced ACL6.
By default, no ACL6 exists on the device.
Run quit
Return to the system view.
Run ipv6 soft-forward enhance enable
The enhanced forwarding function is enabled for IPv6 control
packets generated on the device.
By default, the enhanced forwarding
function is enabled for IPv6 control packets generated on the device.
(Optional) Run ipv6 route re-search aclacl6-number
The SPR function is enabled for the IPv6 protocol packets
generated on the device.
By default, the SPR function is disabled
for IPv6 protocol packets generated on a device.
The following
commands support this command: DNSv6, SSH, Telnet, SNMP, ICMPv6, and
BGP4+.
