Application Scenarios for CWMP
This section describes the applicable scenario of CWMP.
As shown in Figure 5-3, enterprise branches connect to the Internet through the enterprise gateway router. CWMP is deployed between the enterprise headquarters and branches. The router functions as a CPE. The enterprise headquarters control and manage the router using an ACS. After connecting to the router, the ACS manages the system startup file and configuration file for the router, configures the router, monitors the router status and performance, and diagnoses router faults.
