HUAWEI POE/PWRUTITHRESH: PoE power is not enough to power on all the PD.Some low priority PD may power off.(ConsumingPower=[integer])

The current consumed power is higher than the alarm threshold.

Alarm ID Alarm Severity Alarm Type
None None None

Name Meaning
ConsumingPower Indicates the current consumed power.

Impact on the System

Low-priority PDs will be powered off.

Possible Causes

The current consumed PoE power is higher than the alarm threshold.

  1. Run the display poe-power command to check the total power of PDs connected to all ports. If the total power approximates the maximum output power of the PoE midspan, the PoE midspan cannot provide sufficient power for the PDs and new PoE midspans need to be added.
  2. Increase priorities of important devices to prevent their power from being occupied.
