Description
MGMD/3/hwMgmdTotalLimitThresholdExceed:OID [oid] IGMP or MLD total entries count in all instances reached the upper threshold. (hwMgmdNotificationAddressType=[integer], hwMgmdTotalLimitCurrentCount=[integer], hwMgmdTotalLimitThreshold=[integer]%, hwMgmdTotalEntries=[integer])
The proportion of global IGMP/MLD entries created to the maximum global IGMP/MLD entries allowed reached the upper alarm threshold.

Impact on the System
If you continue to configure multicast services after this alarm is reported, new multicast services may fail to be provisioned due to the lack of IGMP/MLD entry resources.
Possible Causes
The proportion of global IGMP/MLD entries created to the maximum global IGMP/MLD entries allowed reached the upper alarm threshold.
Procedure
- Check whether the upper alarm threshold is too low in the
configuration file.
If the threshold is too low, go to Step 2.
If the threshold is not low, go to Step 3.
- Run the mgmd total-number threshold-alarm upper-limit upper-limit-value lower-limit lower-limit-value command in the multicast MIB view to set the upper alarm threshold to a larger value.
- Confirm whether network expansion is required. If network expansion is required, contact technical support personnel.
- End.
