This alarm is generated when the management address of a device is changed.

Name Meaning


Indicates the MIB object ID of the alarm.

LocManIPAddr Indicates the local management address.

Impact on the System

This alarm is a notification of the change of the network topology for the NMS, and does not affect services.

Possible Causes

The management address of a device is changed through commands manually.


  1. Check whether the management address of the device is changed because of normal service requirements.

    (1) If it is a normal service requirement, go to Step 3.

    (2) If not, go to Step 2.

  2. Run the ip address command on the management interface to use the correct address.
  3. End.
