PDOVERLOAD
Description
HUAWEI POE/PDOVERLOAD: PD on the port is over load.(PortIndex=[integer])
The power of the PD connected to the specified port increases sharply, causing insufficient power supply on the port.
Impact on the System
Insufficient power supply on the port may cause low-priority PDs to be automatically powered off.
Procedure
- Run the display poe power port { port-num | all } command to check the maximum power configured for the specified port.
- Run the display poe-power command to check the total power of PDs connected to all ports.
- Perform the following steps as required:
If the maximum output power configured for the port is smaller than the total power required by the PDs and can be increased, run the poe power port port-num port-power-max command to increase the maximum output power. Ensure that the output power is sufficient for all the PDs.
If the maximum output power configured for the port is smaller than the total power required by the PDs but cannot be increased, run the poe priority { critical | high | low } port port-num command to set power supply priorities for PDs. Then low-priority PDs are powered off and power supply of high-priority PDs is ensured.
