Creation Restriction

No entry can be created in this table.

Modification Restriction

Except for HwIFExtLayer, hwIFExtFlowStatInterval, hwIFExtMtu, and hwIFExtMacAddr, other entries in this table cannot be modified.

hwIFExtMacAddr can only support the modification of the Bridge-if interface. Other types of interfaces can only be read.

Deletion Restriction

The entries in this table cannot be deleted.

Access Restriction

hwIFExtMacAddr returns 0-0-0 for the interfaces that do not support MAC address.

hwIFExtMacAddr returns system MAC address for the interfaces for the Eth-Trunk interface that is not configured with the MAC address.
