This table describes the relationship between VLANs and the MSTIs.

When VLAN is used to configure an MSTI, the MSTI is only a management instance of VLAN without effect. Only when the management configuration is activated by using a command, the management instance can become an effective one.

The value of this object identifies the MSTI that the effective VLAN belongs to.

Creation Restriction

The entries in this table cannot be created.

Modification Restriction

The entries in this table cannot be modified.

Deletion Restriction

The entries in this table cannot be deleted.

Access Restriction

To access the data in this table, a VLAN must exist. If the VLAN is not configured with a management instance, the management instance defaults to be MSTI0.

If the management instance is configured but does not become valid, the effective instance ID of the VLAN is the original value.
