Creation Restriction

The creation restrictions are as follows:
  • The hwTACACSServerGroupName must already exist.
  • IP addresses of the primary and secondary servers of the same type (authentication, authorization, or accounting) cannot be the same, but the ports of the primary and secondary servers can be the same.
  • Before configuring ports for the authentication, authorization, and accounting servers, configure the IP addresses first.

Modification Restriction

The modification restrictions are as follows:

  • You can modify a template only when it is not in use.
  • IP addresses of the primary and secondary servers of the same type (authentication, authorization, or accounting) cannot be the same, but the ports of the primary and secondary servers can be the same.
  • Before configuring ports for the authentication, authorization, and accounting servers, configure the IP addresses first.

Deletion Restriction

The HWTACACS templates referenced by domains cannot be deleted. To delete a referenced HWTACACS template, unbind it from the domain first.
