Huawei defines the HUAWEI-IF-EXT-MIB.

This MIB describes the following:

  • Extension attribute of the Layer 2 interface

  • IP configuration of the interface

  • IP address unnumbered

  • Attributes of the trunk interface and trunk member interface

  • Logical interface management

  • Higher and lower alarm thresholds for performance statistics

In this MIB, you can query and set the following:

  • Extension attributes of the interface,such as the frame type, and the flag for the interface to switch between Layer 2 mode and Layer 3 mode

  • IP configuration of the interface, such as the IP address and the subnet mask

  • Attributes of the trunk interface and trunk member interface, such as the trunk interface type, interface mode, and selection of trunk member interfaces
