Modification Restriction

hwAtmVclName can only be specified during creation and cannot be modified.

hwAtmVccAal5EncapsType can be modified with the following restrictions:

  • Only in aal5snap encapsulation mode, rather than the encapsulation modes of aal5mux, the interface can be configured with InARP.

  • If InARP is configured, the encapsulation mode of the AAL5 on a PVC can be changed to aal5mux only after InARP is deleted.

In certain encapsulation modes, the interface may do not support one or more applications of IPoA, IPoEoA, PPPoA, and PPPoEoA.
