  • ip: indicates the IPoA mapping for a PVC is based on the peer IP address.
  • default: indicates the IPoA mapping for a PVC is based on a default route. If the mapping that matches the next hop address of a certain packet does not exist and the IPoA mapping in default mode is configured on a PVC of the interface, packets are transmitted along the PVC.
  • inarp: indicates that InARP is enabled on the PVC.

Creation Restriction

You can create entries in this table. When creating an entry, ensure that the corresponding PVC exists in atmVclTable. When the type of the IPoA mapping is IP, the value of hwAtmPvcIpoaIpAddress is an IP address that is mapped to the PVC; when the type of the IPoA mapping is default or InARP, the value of hwAtmPvcIpoaIpAddress is 0.0.0.0.

The encapsulation mode of the AAL5 on a PVC can be aal5snap and aal5mux. By default, the AAL5 encapsulation mode is aal5snap. In aal5mux mode, InARP cannot be configured. If InARP is configured, the encapsulation mode of the AAL5 on a PVC can be changed to aal5mux only after InARP is deleted.

Modification Restriction

The value of hwAtmPvcIpoaBroadcast can be modified in any condition.

When the IPoA mapping mode is InARP, the value of hwAtmPvcIpoaInarpInterval can be modified.

Deletion Restriction

The entries in this table can be deleted.

Access Restriction

The value of hwAtmPvcIpoaBroadcast can be read.

When the IPoA mapping mode is IP, the value of hwAtmPvcIpoaIpMask can be read; when the IPoA mapping is InARP, the value of hwAtmPvcIpoaInarpInterval can be read.
