APs Supported by the Device
This section describes how to check the default AP types supported by the device.
- APs mentioned in this document are Huawei AP products. You are advised to use Huawei APs to connect to the AC.
- You can run the display ap-type { all | id type-id | type ap-type } command to check
the AP types supported by the device. The default AP types supported
by the device is shown as follows.

You are advised to use the default AP types supported by the device. Otherwise, the AP may not go online.
- APs must connect to LAN interfaces of the device. For details about LAN interfaces on the device, see Chassis in the Huawei AR Series Access Routers Basic Information-Hardware Description. LAN interfaces are described in Appearance and Structure of the corresponding product.
- You can install a LAN interface card on the device to provide more LAN interfaces. For details about the LAN interface card or other interface cards of the device, see Chassis in the Huawei AR Series Access Routers Basic Information-Hardware Description.
