Placing a Storage Node into Maintenance Mode

Placing a Storage Node into Maintenance Mode

On the FusionStorage Block Self-Maintenance Platform, place a storage node into maintenance mode.

This operation can be performed during parts replacement. If a node becomes faulty, the system automatically removes it from the storage pool after 30 minutes by default. This duration is prolonged to 75 minutes if the faulty node has been placed into maintenance mode.

You have logged in to the FusionStorage Block Self-Maintenance Platform.

    1. On the FusionStorage Block Self-Maintenance Platform, choose Hardware > Servers.

      The Servers page is displayed.

    2. Click to the left of the target server and select Set Maintenance Mode.

      A dialog box is displayed.

    3. Click Yes.
