Uploading a File to a Storage Node Using FileZilla

Prerequisites

The IP address of each network adapter except the Mgmt network interface has been obtained, and the L3 network communication is normal between the network adapter whose IP address has been obtained and the installation PC.

Procedure

  1. Double-click the program file on the installation PC.
  2. In Host, enter sftp://xx.xx.xx.xx, where xx.xx.xx.xx is the storage node IP address. In Username, enter root (If this is not the initial deployment, use user Omuser. The default password is Omuser@storage). In Password, enter the password (Root@storage by default). Keep the defaults for other settings. Then, click Quickconnect, as shown in Figure 8-17.

    NOTE:

    Before the deployment, upload files on the file storage node and block storage node using a same method.

  3. (Optional) Create a directory.

    In the navigation tree on the right, right-click a directory under which you want to create a subdirectory. On the shortcut menu, choose Create directory and enter a directory name. Then click OK.

  4. Upload a file.

    In the navigation tree on the left, select a directory where the file you want to upload resides. In the navigation tree on the right, select a directory where you want to upload the file. Then, drag the file on the left to the directory on the right.

    NOTE:

    If you want to download the file from a storage node to your local computer, drag the file to the left.
