Checking Storage Nodes

Checking Storage Nodes

This section describes how to check whether the configuration of storage nodes meets requirements.

Table 3-5 shows the configuration requirements for storage nodes.

Table 3-5  Storage node configuration requirements

Configuration Item

Number of nodes

The number of storage nodes cannot be smaller than 3.

Firmware version

The firmware version is the same as that in the PANGEA Version Mapping.

Randomly check one to two nodes. Check and upgrade all firmware by referring to the FusionStorage Node Firmware Upgrade Guide.

Image version

The image version needs to be the same as the values of OS_compiletime and OS_compileversion in the svn.txt file that is obtained from the decompressed image package.

Log in to the storage node as user root. Run the cat /etc/EulerLinux.conf command to view the values of OS_compiletime and OS_compileversion.

If the values are different, see chapter Reinstalling the Production Mirroring Software on a Storage Node in this appendix to reinstall the production mirroring software.

Upon first login, you only need to randomly check one to three nodes.
