Configuring a DHCP Server

To go online normally, RUs and STAs must obtain IP addresses. You can configure a central AP as a DHCP server or use an independent DHCP server to allocate IP addresses to RUs and STAs.

  • An independent DHCP server applies to large WLANs of large- and medium-sized campus networks.
