Configuring Intra-Central AP Roaming

Configuring Intra-Central AP Roaming

Pre-configuration Tasks

Before configuring intra-central AP roaming, configure basic WLAN services and perform the following configurations on the RUs:
  • Associate the RUs to the same central AP.
  • Configure the same security policy.
  • Set the same SSID.
  • If NAC is configured on the central AP, ensure that the central AP delivers the same authentication and authorization policies to all RUs.

Configuration Process

After the pre-configuration tasks are complete, the central AP supports intra-central AP roaming without any extra configurations. A STA can roam between RUs connected to this central AP.
