Modifying the RU Group to Which RUs Belong

Modifying the RU Group to Which RUs Belong

If the current AP group is not applicable to an RU or the RU is added to an incorrect AP group, you can modify configurations to add the RU to a new AP group.

Modifying the AP group results in RU restart and service interruption. Exercise caution when performing this operation.

You can also modify AP groups in the RU provisioning view. For details, see Configuring Online Parameters.

  1. Run:

    The system view is displayed.

  2. Run:

    The WLAN view is displayed.

  3. Run:

    ap-regroup { ap-name ap-name | ap-id ap-id } new-group new-group-name

An RU is added to a new AP group.

The AP group to which an RU is added must have been created using the ap-group name group-name command.
