Application Scenarios

When enterprise users implement HTTP or HTTPS requests, the Central AP can allow, alert, or block users' requests by the URL filtering function.

As shown in Figure 26-39, URL filtering is applied to:

  • Allow the request if the user accesses a legitimate website .
  • Block the request if the user accesses an illegitimate website.

URL filtering manages users' Internet access permission through schedule, user, or user group, which allows or blocks the URL requests.
