Configuring Country Codes


A country code identifies the country to which AP radios belong. Different countries support different AP radio attributes, including the transmit power and supported channels. Correct country code configuration ensures that radio attributes of APs comply with laws and regulations of countries and regions to which the APs are delivered.

  • When configuring an AP for the first time, you must configure the correct country code. The country code must comply with local laws and regulations.


  1. Run:


    The system view is displayed.

  2. Run:


    The WLAN view is displayed.

  3. Run:

    country-code country-code

    A country code is configured.

    By default, the country code CN is configured.

Verifying the Configuration

  • Run the display ap run-info command to check the country code of an AP.
