Querying the Smart Provisioning Hardware Configuration File

Function

Query the Smart Provisioning hardware configuration file.

Format

./urest -H HOST -p PORT -U USERNAME -P PASSWORD getsphw -F FILE

Parameters

Parameter

Value

HOST

iBMC IP address or domain name. It is a mandatory parameter. If an IPv6 address is used, the IPv6 address must be included in square brackets, such as [1001::1001].

PORT

Port number. The default value is 443. It is an optional parameter.

Enter the port number if the default value 443 is not used.

USERNAME

iBMC user name. It is a mandatory parameter.

PASSWORD

Password of the iBMC user. It is a mandatory parameter.

FILE

Local path of the obtained configuration file. It is a optional parameter.

Value format: Directory/File name

The file path cannot contain spaces. If the path contains spaces:

  • On Windows, add three double quotation marks (""") before and after the path, for example, -F """D:\\test config\\config.json""".
  • On Linux, add a double quotation mark (") before and after the path, for example, -F "/home/test config/config.json".

Usage Guidelines

  • Only FusionServer V5 servers and TaiShan 200 servers are supported. Atlas servers are not supported.
  • The BIOS version must be 0.39 or later.
  • Smart Provisioning must be installed on the server.

Obtain help information.

  -h, --help  show this help message and exit 
  -F FILE     the loacl path of get the configuration file

Query the Smart Provisioning hardware configuration information and save the information to the file.
