Parameters

Parameter

Description

Value

HOST

iBMC IP address or domain name. It is a mandatory parameter. If an IPv6 address is used, the IPv6 address must be included in square brackets, such as [1001::1001].

-

PORT

Port number. The default value is 443. It is an optional parameter.

Enter the port number if the default value 443 is not used.

-

SUBNETMASK

Subnet mask corresponding to the IPv4 address. It is an optional parameter.

-

Usage Guidelines

When the current mode is DHCP, the independent configuration of the IP address attribute takes effect, but an error is reported if the IP address, subnet mask, and gateway address are set at the same time.

Example

Obtain help information.

[root@localhost bin]# ./urest -H 10.10.10.10 -U ****** -P ****** setipv4 -h
usage: urest setipv4 [-h] [-IP ADDRESS] [-M {Static,DHCP}] [-G GATEWAY]
                          [-MASK SUBNETMASK]

optional arguments:
-h, --help show this help message and exit
-IP ADDRESS IPv4 address of the iBMC network port
-M {Static,DHCP} how the IPv4 address of the iBMC network port is allocated
-G GATEWAY gateway IPv4 address of the iBMC network port
-MASK SUBNETMASK subnet mask of the iBMC network port

Query IP address information.

[root@localhost bin]# ./urest -H 10.10.10.10 -U ****** -P ****** getip
