Querying the Smart Provisioning Configuration File


Query the Smart Provisioning configuration file.


./urest -H HOST -p PORT -U USERNAME -P PASSWORD getspcfg -T {SPRAID,SPOSInstallPara,SPCfg} -F FILE -I ID






iBMC IP address or domain name. It is a mandatory parameter. If an IPv6 address is used, the IPv6 address must be included in square brackets, such as [1001::1001].



Port number. The default value is 443. It is an optional parameter.

Enter the port number if the default value 443 is not used.


iBMC user name. It is a mandatory parameter.



Password of the iBMC user. It is a mandatory parameter.



Configuration file type. It is a mandatory parameter.

  • SPRAID: RAID configuration file.
  • SPOSInstallPara: OS configuration file.
  • SPCfg: Smart Provisioning configuration file.


Local path of the obtained configuration file. It is a mandatory parameter.

Value format: Directory/File name

The file path cannot contain spaces. If the path contains spaces:

  • On Windows, add three double quotation marks (""") before and after the path, for example, F """D:\\test config\\config.json""".
  • On Linux, add a double quotation mark (") before and after the path, for example, -F "/home/test config/config.json".


Component ID. It is a mandatory parameter.

The value must be an existing ID of the component.

Usage Guidelines

  • Only FusionServer V5 servers and TaiShan 200 servers are supported. Atlas servers are not supported.
  • The BIOS version must be 0.39 or later.
  • Smart Provisioning must be installed on the server.


Obtain help information.

optional arguments: 
  -h, --help            show this help message and exit 
  -T {SPRAID,SPOSInstallPara,SPCfg} 
                        get SPRAID, SPOSInstallPara, SPCfg 
  -F FILE               the loacl path of get the configuration file 
  -I ID                 the number of the configuration file

Query the RAID configuration file.

[root@localhost bin]# ./urest -H -U ****** -P ****** getspcfg -T SPRAID -F /home/aa.json -I 1
