Configuring the RAID Using Smart Provisioning

  1. Deliver the task. For details, see Creating a RAID Configuration Resource of the Smart Provisioning Service.
  2. Enable the system to boot from Smart Provisioning. For details, see Modifying the Smart Provisioning Service Resource Attributes.
  3. Forcibly restart the OS without affecting services on the server. For details, Powering On or Off an OS.

    After the OS is restarted, Smart Provisioning is automatically started to configure the RAID.

  4. Query the results. For details, see Querying the Configuration Result Resources of the Smart Provisioning Service.
