A VM Is Stopped Unexpectedly When the OS Is Installed Using the ISO File, but the OS Cannot Be Installed After the VM Is Restarted

Fault Description

When the OS is installed in a VM using the ISO file, the installation is stopped unexpectedly. For example, the VM is stopped using the vm stop command or the device is powered off unexpectedly. After the VM is restarted, the OS installation is incomplete but the OS cannot be installed using the ISO file.

Troubleshooting Procedure

  1. Delete the VM. For details, see Deleting a VM.

  2. Use the OVA package for installing this VM to re-install the VM, start the VM, and install the OS. For details, see Configuring a VM (Using CLIs).
