Deleting a VM

Context

If a VM is not used, you can delete the VM and reclaim resources allocated to the VM.

After a VM is deleted, all services on the VM are interrupted and cannot be restored. Therefore, exercise caution when deciding to perform this operation.

Pre-configuration Tasks

Running the vm stop command to stop the VM

Procedure

  1. Run system-view

    The system view is displayed.

  2. Run virtual-environment ip-address

    Enter the virtual-environment view.

    The parameter ip-address indicates the IP address of the virtual interface br0.

  3. Run uninstall vm vm-name

    The VM is deleted.
