Deactivating a VM

Deactivating a VM


Deactivating a VM releases resources occupied by the VM. To reallocate resources to the VM, run the vm activate command to activate the VM.

Pre-configuration Tasks

Running the vm stop command to stop the VM


  1. Run system-view

    The system view is displayed.

  2. Run virtual-environment ip-address

    Enter the virtual-environment view.

    The parameter ip-address indicates the IP address of the virtual interface br0.

  3. Run vm vm-name

    The VM view is displayed.

  4. Run vm deactivate

    The VM is deactivated.
