Configuring RTP Test and RTP Snoop Test Instances to Detect Network Quality of a Telepresence Video Conference
RTP test instances and RTP snooping test instances are dedicated to detecting the quality of telepresence networks, which helps quickly rectify faults and ensures normal telepresence video conferences.
Pre-Configuration Tasks
Ensure the reachability of the route from the source to the destination.
Configuration Process
- Before deploying RTP test and RTP snooping test instances, verify that the network of the telepresence video conference meets the deployment requirements. Check the delay, packet loss ratio, and jitter of the telepresence network. If the telepresence network does not meet the requirements, locate the network segment with poor link quality for optimization. For details about configuring telepresence network detection before the deployment, see Testing Telepresence Network Quality Before Deploying a Telepresence Video Conference System.
- After deploying RTP test and RTP snooping test instances, verify that the telepresence network meets the telepresence video conference requirements. Check the delay, packet loss ratio, and jitter of the telepresence network. If the telepresence network does not meet the requirements, locate the fault. For details about configuring telepresence network detection before the video conference, see Testing Telepresence Network Quality Before Starting a Telepresence Video Conference.
- If the video is not clear or and is discontinuous, check the packet loss ratio to detect the telepresence network in time and locate the fault. For details about configuring telepresence network detection during the video conference, see Testing Telepresence Network Quality During a Telepresence Video Conference.
