Feature Limitations

  • Only the E series (except ET1D2X48SEC0 card) cards support the IP session function.

  • Only the GE sub-interface, and Eth-Trunk sub-interface support the IP session function.

  • When the member interfaces of an Eth-Trunk contain other interfaces except GE interface, the IP session function does not take effect on the sub-interfaces of the Eth-Trunk interface.

  • When an Eth-Trunk contain the member interfaces that are located on cards that do not support IP session, the IP session does not take effect on the sub-interfaces of the Eth-Trunk.

  • The IP session and L2VPN functions cannot be configured together on the same sub-interface.
