Implemented Specifications

This object specifies the management IP address of a local device. A management IP address is contained in the management address TLV of an LLDP packet. It is used for the NMS to identify a device and manage the network. The management IP address configured must be legal. It must be an IP address in the IP address chain table. If the IP address of a specified interface is illegal or the management IP address is not configured, an IP address found from the system will serve as the management IP address, by default. The system searches an IP address in such a sequence: loopback interface, management network interface, VLANIF port, and IP address chain table. The smallest IP address is used. If the default IP address is not found, the bridge MAC of the system will be used.

This object is implemented as defined in the corresponding MIB files.
