This object indicates a BGP BFD session trigger policy. The value can be:

  • 1: BGP BFD sessions are established using host addresses.

  • 2: BGP BFD sessions are established using an IP address prefix list.

  • 3. No policy for establishing BGP BFD sessions is configured.

The default value is 3.

MPLS and BFD must be enabled before a policy for establishing BGP BFD sessions is configured.

This object is implemented as defined in the corresponding MIB file.
