The values are as follows:

  • preferred(1): this is a valid address that can appear as the destination or source address of a packet.
  • deprecated(2): this is a valid but deprecated address that should no longer be used as a source address in new communications, but packets addressed to such an address are processed as expected.
  • invalid(3): this is not valid address which should not appear as the destination or source address of a packet.
  • inaccessible(4): the address is not accessible because the interface to which this address is assigned is not operational.
  • unknown(5)

Currently, the return value preferred(1) and inaccessible(4) are supported only.

Creation Restriction

No entry can be created in this table.

Modification Restriction

The entries in this table cannot be modified.

Deletion Restriction

The entries in this table cannot be deleted.

Access Restriction

The interface supports the IPv6 function.
