Functions Overview

HUAWEI-MFF-MIB is used for configuring MAC-Forced Forwarding (MFF) and querying MFF configurations. This MIB provides MFF configurations and the mapping table between users and gateways, and supports the creation and deletion of MFF entries.

Deletion Restriction

The entries in this table can be deleted without restriction.

Creation Restriction

  • MFF must be enabled globally and in the specified VLAN.

  • You must specify indexes hwMffModUserVlan and hwMffModUserIpAddr.

  • User-side interfaces must be added to the VLAN.

  • Set operations on entries must comply with the SNMPv2 entry creation standard.

Modification Restriction

  • MFF must be enabled globally and in the specified VLAN.

  • The objects corresponding to hwMffModUserVlan and hwMffModUserIpAddr must already exist. If the objects do not exist, create them.

  • User-side interfaces must be added to the VLAN.

  • If the gateway address is referenced by another object, modifying the MAC address results in modification of other user entries.

Deletion Restriction

  • MFF must be enabled globally and in the specified VLAN.

  • The objects corresponding to hwMffModUserVlan and hwMffModUserIpAddr must be found.

Access Restriction

  • MFF must be enabled globally and in the specified VLAN.
