Overview of Performance Management

The performance management (PM) function collects and counts system performance indicators for system running status analysis.

As a key feature to improve device operation and maintenance capabilities, PM provides current and historical system performance data. You can use the data to analyze the system running status, locate faults, and perform system configuration.

You can also analyze system performance trends based on collected performance data. For example, based on the peak and valley of user traffic volume in a day, you can analyze the traffic increase trend and increase rate on your network in a month or longer. System performance data is also the basis for network configuration optimization and network expansion.
