Pre-configuration Tasks

Before configuring the SAVI function, enable ND snooping and DHCPv6 snooping.
  • To filter invalid IPv6 data packets, configure the IPSG function.
  • To filter invalid ND protocol packets, go to Configuring ND Packet Validity Check.
  • To filter invalid DHCPv6 protocol packets, go to Configuring Defense Against Bogus DHCP Message Attacks.
