Functions Overview

HUAWEI-ALARM-RELIABILITY-MIB manages configurations about parameters of the alarm in Inform mode. It manages the length of the queue of the Inform messages to be confirmed, global retransmission times, and global timeout time.

The default value is 39.

Read-write

The value of this object identifies that if a pending inform packet receives the confirm packet and the request-id of the confirm is equal to that of the pending packet, this pending inform packet is discarded immediately. Otherwise, the inform packet is sent again after the timeout period expires till the number of times of retransmission reaches the limit or the confirm packet is received. After this, this pending packet will be discarded.

By default, the value is 1500.

The step of the value is 100. If the set value is smaller than 100, the step value 100 is used.

Read-write

This object indicates the global timeout period. If a response packet corresponding to a packet sent to the target host is not received within the timeout period, the system assumes that the response packet will not be delivered. Note that this timeout period is applicable for all target hosts.

This object is implemented as defined in the corresponding MIB files.
